My camera battery died yesterday, so I don't have any pictures to post; but I thought I would put some of my thoughts out there about what we did yesterday.
We went to the doctor for Kevin's follow-up meeting with his oncologist and everything on his X-rays and CT Scans looked clear and great! The doctor said he would only have to do blood work every two months and just do a CT Scan once every 6 months (instead of every 3 months). We are so thankful!! Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for him!
After the doctor, we needed a celebration....so we went to Nana's in Hixson! It was delicious. I got a Chattanooga Choo-Choo and Kevin got his Turtle Temptation!
Then, we went to Northgate Mall to let Jase and Jax play on the playground since it was raining. I got Kaden some cute outfits for next summer at Belk, they were having a huge sale! After the mall, we went to eat dinner at Jason and Jill's. Pizza Hut! Pineapple and ham!!! It was great!
When we got home, it was time for Kaden to eat again. So I fixed his bottle...(to add cereal) and then we played for just a little bit. He went to sleep around 9:00 pm and when I laid him down, he woke back up. I laid down beside him (his cradle is beside our bed) and tried to get him to go back to sleep and I ended up falling asleep...in my clothes from the day (sweater, long-sleeve shirt, pants nad all...lol). When Kevin came to bed...don't know what time....I took my sweater off and just slept in my clothes. I didn't realize I was THAT tired. I slept pretty good...but Kaden woke up around 4:15 this morning. I am thinking we are going to have to increase the amount we are feeding him. This makes the 3rd night in a row he has woke up in the middle of the night! : (
Hopefully I will be able to take a nap with my little boy when I get home from school today! :)
