Having a Lazy Week

Kevin and I have been talking a lot lately about how much we love that I come home from work at 2:00 and we have the rest of the day to do 'nothing'. It is weird for us, because for the past few years, I have coached a sport everyday during the school year and even some in the summer. Then, during the summer, I have taken classes to finish my Master's everyday. I can't remember a time when I came home and had no obligations almost half the day. And I love it...its weird, but we love it!

This little boy has loved being at home the past two days/nights. We haven't been too busy running around and eating dinner with everyone (which I love!!!), but we have been able to stay at home and let this little boy play with some of his toys. Kaden does so good being gone all the time, but I loved getting to watch him play with his toys yesterday!
For some reason, I think that Kaden might be getting a tooth. I know it seems early...but he chews on everything...not sucks...chews. He chews fingers, hands, pacis, burp cloths, etc. So, Kevin and I decided to give him a teething ring yesterday and he loved it! He had a little trouble holding it up there for a long time, but he started to figure it out.I love that he looks at me when I say his name!

He is too cute....I can't help it!!!

We also opened his playmate and he enjoyed laying there and playing with all the linkys hanging down. He can really start to grab stuff and hold on! He really enjoyed playing with Mommy and Daddy yesterday.

And -- Since it was so nice outside, we went for a walk in the park in Collegedale and then played on the playground for a little bit. It started to get cold, so the 'OPM' in me came out and we had to leave!

I can't believe how fast time is flying by, but I am really trying to enjoy everyday (especially days like yesterday...when we have nothing to do, but spend time together as a family).
