Dr. Appointment, Mr. T's, and home-cooked dinner

Yesterday, we went to the doctor for a follow-up CT Scan for Kevin. He has to go in for one every three months for the next year or so. Kaden and I tagged along to keep him company. Kaden is really starting to like his toys and he loves making his turtle and frog spin around on his car seat.

Check out his little shoes. I loved the dinosaurs and they matched perfect! I think babies with shoes on are so cute!
Kaden and Daddy waiting to go back. This is after Daddy had to drink the nasty tasting dye for his CT Scan. Kaden decided he would take a nap while we waited for an hour just to go back for the scan.

After we left the scan, Kevin had to go up to the doctor's office to do his lab work. As soon as we walked in, we signed in and the lady behind the desk asked Kevin if he needed a wheelchair. There is a joke that goes along with why she was asking him this. The last time we were in that doctor's office, I was 9 months pregnant and Kevin had just had surgery. A lady from the hospital that transports patients that need wheelchairs came and was waiting outside Kevin's room. When we finished talking to the doctor, this lady with a wheelchair told Kevin to have a seat and she was going to take care of him. So, not wanting to seem rude, Kevin takes a seat in the wheelchair and she starts to push him out the door. (He had just had surgery, and they did take him out in a wheelchair after the surgery -- so we didn't think this was too weird.) As he was waiting to set up his next appointments, his doctor came back to the hallway where we were waiting and gave Kevin a weird look. I just started laughing and so did all the girls in the office. The doctor asked him why he was in the wheelchair and of course Kevin just said...."She said have a seat." Turns out, that lady with the wheelchair was supposed to be picking up another patient across the hall. So, Kevin got out of the wheelchair and we walked out....well Kevin walked and I waddled! I can't believe they all remembered that, but it was funny again yesterday.

After the doctor, we went to Mr. T's, since we were already downtown. Kevin hadn't eaten all day, because of the scan. He got a personal pizza and we split a banana split! It was SOO good!

After Mr. T's, we went to see two blonde little boys. It was so nice outside, so we played in the yard. This little boy is getting around so much! He walks most of the time, but if he gets knocked down he just keeps crawling. It is so cute.

Daddy and Kaden wanted to play outside too.

Jase playing frisbee. He kept trying to get it stuck in the tree so Uncle Kevin would have to get it out. "Uncle Kevin....can you help?"

Kevin wanted to take Kaden's picture on Uncle Jason's truck. He said that one day, when Kaden is older he will think Uncle Jason's truck was pretty cool.

Same thing with Mommy's Honda Pilot. He looks tiny compared to the car! Jase loved playing outside. He got out his ball and bat and let Jax play with him.

These two boys played all night....and played hard. I wish I had taken a picture of the two of the wrestling. It was sooo cute. Jase was laying down on his back and he would hug Jax and then flip him to the other side, and then flip him back and forth. They both just laughed and laughed. This is what they were doing while I started dinner. We ate at Jason and Jill's and had porkchops, potatoes, corn and rolls. It was so nice to eat at home (not my home...but not at a resturant...lol)

This little guy was having a blast! We had another great day with our family! I am loving this time in my life!
