3 Months

Kaden was 3 months old on Monday and we have been so busy since then, I am just now getting to post this. I can't believe that 3 months have gone by...I feel like everyone says that, but it is because it is true.

Kaden, here is what you are up to these days:

• You weigh around 11 lbs
• You are about 26 inches long
• You wear mostly 3 months clothes, we have had to get rid of some of your 0-3 months pajamas and move on to the 3-6 months
• You still nurse about 5 to 6 times a day
• You eat 5 oz of Mommy's milk at each feeding and you take rice cereal in your last bottle of the day before bed
• You take 'cat naps' during the day with daddy and take 2 pretty good naps of 2 1/2 to 3 hours long
• You were sleeping through the night pretty much all the time, but the past few nights, you have woke up anywhere from 2:00 am to 4:00 am to feed
• You are wearing size 1 diapers
• You smile when you hear mommy or daddy, or when someone talks in a 'baby voice' to you
• You love to be wrapped up in a warm blanket when you are going to sleep
• You love when daddy makes a burping noise, you just laugh and laugh at him
• You are getting better about burping while eating and you aren't spitting up as much as you were
• You really like your toys and you have a pretty good grip on things. You have even gotten a handful of mommy's hair
• You still love your 'blinking frog' on your car seat and your duck rattle
• You love your paci (so much that we have one everywhere - in my car, in the crib, in my purse, in your cradle, attached to your car seat, etc.)
• You love to suck/chew on your hands. They are constantly in your mouth.
• You almost rolled over this past weekend....I know it is coming soon!

I love you so much and I can hardly remember what our lives were like without you. You stay at home with daddy everyday, except with Nana or Mamaw give him a break. Daddy sends me pictures and videos of you and him all day long and I love it. He sent me a video today of him making a burping noise and you just laughed and laughed and laughed. I couldn't believe it, you looked so grown. He also sent me a picture of you in your crib with your paci on your forehead. Your daddy is so good with you and I love that you two get to spend so much time together everyday.
