Kaden is 8 weeks old

Kaden was 8 weeks old yesterday and he has reached a few milestones. He went on his first Jeep ride with Mommy and Daddy yesterday, had cereal for the first time, and slept through the night...for the thrid time (not in a row...but three times overall!)
I can't believe how much he stays awake during the day and how alert he is. Everyone says he is really long and I didn't really see it until this past week. I know two other people who had boys 9 days and 2 weeks after me and they are not as long as Kaden. I am interested to know how long he is when we go back to the doctor next week. This weekend was great! Kaden and I went out of town Friday morning for a volleyball tournament in Brentwood, Tennessee. We played the early games and then had some time to go shopping! I love shopping in Brentwood because they have EVERYTHING!!! We went to Macy's, Pottery Barn, Gymboree and tons of other places. I was able to find a few things for Kaden to wear for the holidays coming up. We also went to a Halloween spirit tent in the mall parking lot and found Kaden's Halloween costume! I love it! We are having his picture made next week, so I can hopefully post some then.
Sunday was a great day as well! We went to church, which I love because Kevin gets to go every Sunday right now. After church we went to a 'Going Away' party for Kevin's cousing Holly. She is moving to California next week. It was outside and was it hot! It felt really good in the shade and Kaden did great. He loved all the attention and loved getting to see everyone. It was good to see all of Kevin's family and we had some great food. I didn't have my camera, but I am going to try and steal some pictures from Lynette off facebook.

Last night, we went to eat for Jason's birthday at Mr. T's! It was great! This week is pretty busy with birthdays...and I love it! Mike's birthday was Thursday, Jason's is today, and Kevin's is Wednesday! C-R-A-Z-Y!

My Aunt Judy came to visit two weekends ago and this was the first time she meet Kaden. He looks so grown in this picture. Anut Judy, Mom and Holly went to some estate sales and got some really good stuff. I left Kaden with Mom, Aunt Judy and Holly at Holly's while I ran some errands at the mall.
