Life as a Moses: Thanksgiving with the Hamilton's

Ok - So I am getting behind with all the activities that we have going on this time of year. Here are pictures from Thanksgiving with my family. It started Wednesday night at Holly's house as we began to bake/cook/prepare for Thanksgiving Day!

Gabrielle and Kaden. She is so sweet with him. She will ask if she can hold him while she is sitting down. Then, after I put him in her lap (2 seconds later) she says, "Ok, I am done." It is so cute!

Gabrielle thought she wanted to see what Nana was doing to the Turkey. She was grossed out and said, "Yuck."

She couldn't believe what Nana was doing to the poor little turkey! It was so funny. I should have taken a picture of Nicholas too. All he wanted to do was touch the turkey tail! It was hilarious!

Thanksgiving morning, all the kids came in their p.j.'s to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Aunt Judy stopped by to see everyone!

Kaden and Nana. My mom made her sweatshirt. It is a turkey with different colored feathers for everyone in the family. My mom also made Kaden's shirt with a turkey on it and his name in the middle! She is very talented and getting pretty good with her machine.

Gabrielle, Aunt Heather, and Kaden playing cards after breakfast. We played cards all day! It was pretty fun. We played Old Maid, Crazy 8's and Go Fish. Old Maid was by far the best game. Nicholas and Kevin loved trying to give people the Old Maid!

I knew me and Gabrielle were a lot alike! I love that she is drinking a Mountain Dew at 11:00 am!

Here is our dessert table. My favorites are Pumpkin Pie and fudge! My mom made Pumpkin Bars this year and they were great! We are very blessed!

And now for the goods! Here is one counter full of food.

The adult table. It was so pretty and decorated well! We used real glasses and everyone was taking bets on who would be the first to break one. So, Chris decided he would just drink out of a red Solo cup. Everything was beautiful...and nothing broke (that I know of...lol).

Here is the infamous Turkey. We heard this nearly 1,000 times on Thanksgiving. When you push his feather, he sings "Turkey in the Straw". Gabrielle and Nicholas loved it. Every time one of them would walk by they would have to push it.

All of our ads. After we finished eating, we rested and started making a game plan for that night and Friday morning.

After lunch, Kaden took a long nap. He was worn out from all the playing and the turkey! He slept with his hands over his eyes...and it was super cute!
