Last Friday was the last day of middle school volleyball and my team finished 3rd in the tournament. It was a great year and I had so much fun.
Monday, Kevin and I both started new sports and new seasons! Kevin had his first day of middle school baseball try-outs and I had my first softball practice! Kevin is coaching at Hunter Middle School and is really enjoying it so far. This week, only the pitchers and catchers are coming to try out and it has been great....except for how cold it has been! Monday wasn't too bad, but yesterday was very, very cold and windy. Today, hopefully it won't be as cold, because after try-outs, Kevin and the other coach have been staying after try-outs to work on the field. He is really enjoying coaching right now and is ready for the season to start.
We started softball last week with try-outs, but due to middle school volleyball -- I was hit and miss on being there for softball. However, this week, I have been able to go everyday. Yesterday was miserably cold! I wore two pair of pants and four tops...and was still cold! Hopefully it won't be that cold or windy today.
Kevin and I both have our first playdays on March 6. I can't wait to get started.
**Only 5 and 1/2 weeks until Disney!!!!
