Working Around the House

Since Kevin was off work last night (for our anniversary), he didn't sleep late today! So, when I got home from school, we went to eat lunch and then came home to do some much needed work around the house.

The first thing we did was hang these decorative stars that my sister-in-law bought for my birthday (in April)! We would have hung them a long time ago, but we couldn't decide the perfect place for them. Today, we decided the best place would be above our tub in the Master Bathroom. I absolutely LOVE them there!! Thanks so much Jill for the stars!

After working and cleaning a little inside, we went outside and picked weeds out of the flower beds and tried to pull up a bush (that used to be a tree). This thing was sooo heavy that we couldn't pick it. We are going to wait until tomorrow to try and load it in the trash can.
