Our 1st Summer!

We have been super busy and chasing Kaden around every where, it is sometimes even hard to get a good picture of him.

Kaden went to prom with me this year and he had a great time! He was the cutest boy there and all the girls loved him!

And his 8 month picture. My camera was a little messed up, so these pictures aren't the best. His hair drives me crazy hanging in his eyes and over his ears....haircut pictures are coming.

This is Kaden's new favorite thing. He found the air vents one day and now everywhere we go, if he is crawling on the floor, he will find the air vent and just let the air blow in his face. He will just stop right on top of it and then look at you and smile.

1st HAIRCUT! Kaden got his 1st haircut on Tuesday, June 21st. It was time....I know you are supposed to wait for his 1st birthday, but I couldn't take it in his face any longer. He did pretty good.

He didn't like it so much when she got really close to his face. I had to hold him down and he was not happy.

When we were finished, Tuesday let him have the comb and Kaden wanted to brush his hair. He looks like such a little boy; he is so grown. : (

Today we went to Elaine's mom's 80th birthday party. He had lots of fun and even tried to icing from the birthday cake. He couldn't get down and crawl around, so we tried to entertain him at the table. After 30 minutes of playing 'drop the toy and mommy and daddy will pick it up', we resorted to eating chocolate cherrios and juice. This worked for a while, but, he was ready to go.

Lastly, we took his 10 month pictures tonight (a little late, I know). It was so funny. Kevin helped me try to get a good picture of him...here are the best we could do. He kept laughing and laughing and laughing.

I tried to let him hold the paper....... and then he would sit down.....

I can't believe we are taking our first beach trip in less than a week! Then, we have to finalize birthday party plans! I am so excited, but still shocked at how fast a year has gone by.
