I went with my family. This little boy got to be an only child because his sister and daddy stayed home. They were still pooped out from a late Thanksgiving night and Black Friday shopping. His Nana (my mom) brought a thermos full of hot chocolate. We sat on the bridge and all the lighted boats went right underneath us.
It was really cold....and Nicholas didn't want to keep his hat on. So, in this picture, as soon as his mom looked at the camera, he took it off!
Nicholas and Nana...
Me and the big boy!
Nicholas and Aunt Holly!
After the parade, we went in the Ice Cream and Coffee shop to use the bathroom. They had this carousel horse inside, so Nicholas wanted his picture made on it! He would stop bouncing around...so my picture is a little blurry! Who can blame him....it looked like fun! (I am way too big for that now!)
As we were walking down to the river, we passed all of these sculptures. Nicholas thought this one looked like an egg. He climbed inside to be a little bird!
I climbed in there with him and we tried to take a picture...but my camera batteries ran out! He thinks that deviled eggs are called "doubled eggs" and so that is what he said we were...."doubled eggs"! It was sooo cute! I wish the picture would have worked! I had so much fun with my family! I hope we can all go to the Downtown Christmas Parade coming up this weekend!
